Changes to Garden Waste Sacks
Maidstone Borough Council will shortly be changing the garden sacks from plastic ones to ones made from a compostable material.
The compostable sacks will be available from 4th October.
Between 4th and 31st October you will be able to exchange any unused rolls of plastic sacks for the new ones.
Either type of sack will be collected up to 18th December. From 10th January only compostable sacks will be collected.
Due to these bags being more expensive to produce they will cost £3.25 per roll.
