Have Your Say

Bearsted Parish Council welcomes the views of residents and where possible tries to get residents involved in its activities or ask their opinions on matters affecting the parish.  It does this in a number of ways:

  • All meetings of the Parish Council and its committees are open to the public to attend, and are advertised on the council's noticeboards and website.  No only can you attend, but you can ask questions or make comment during the meeting.  Written questions should be submitted to the Clerk by noon on the day of the meeting.
  • The parish council is in the process of publishing a quarterly newsletter which will tell residents what the council has been doing and will invite opinion on key issues within the parish.
  • The parish council website NOW includes a 'forum' section which will allow residents to voice their opinions on matters affecting life within the parish. Additionally you can use the enquiry form to express your views.
  • The recently published Parish Plan sought residents opinions on various aspects affecting residents.  Following analysis of results a report will be published and included on the website.
  • You can, of course, always let us know your views and opinions at any time by telephoning, writing or e-mailing the Clerk at:
