Paul Carter, Leader of Kent County Council, to address Parish Council Meeting on 8th May 2012

Paul Carter will attend the Parish Council meeting on 8th May to give an update on recent events regarding school admissions in the area. Members of the community are welcome to attend the meeting, which will start at 7:30pm at King George V Memorial Hall, Manor Rise, Bearsted.

Welcome to new Parish Councillor

12th April 2012

We are pleased to welcome Tim Licence to the Council, following the resignation of Chris Dyke. Tim was the only nomination for the vacancy following a request from the electors of Bearsted for an election and therefore he is elected uncontested and there will not be an election for the Parish Council vacancy.

 
Bearsted Parish Council supports Cricket on Bearsted Green

Discussions between the Parish Council, Bearsted Cricket Club and solicitors have been on-going since December 2011 to agree a new licence/lease for cricket to continue on the Green.  These discussions are nearing completion and we hope to have this concluded very soon.
